India’s One Electric has led the shift away from fossil fuels in the electric vehicle (EV) sector. The company recently released all-new 3rd generation S1 Gen electric scooters, which are better in terms of efficiency, performance, and design escapes. Aside from the Gen 3 series, the company has also announced some great deals on their Gen 2 scooters, providing discounts of up to ₹35,000, and hence the new prices are even more reasonable. The prices changes for were ₹1,14,999, ₹69,999, ₹79,999, and ₹89,999 for the S1 Pro and S1 X (2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh) respectively.

Upgrades & Enhancements in Gen 3

The purpose of the Gen 3 platform is to acquire more power, safety, and reliability abilities. Some of the key highlights of the model are:
Multi-drive motor and chain drive system leading to better power delivery and durability.

Every Gen 3 scooter comes with a three-year warranty of its own, and it covers both the vehicle and the battery. They can also extend the battery warranty for as long as eight years or 1,25,000 km, and they will charge them ₹14,999.

A few weeks ago, Ola Electric had launched the less costly models of the EVs:

  • Ola Gig+ – ₹49,999
  • Ola S1 Z – ₹59,999
  • Ola S1 Z+ – ₹64,999

These bikes will be ready from April and May 2025 thanks to the removable battery that allows for applications in various areas like the village, semi-urban, or urban. They will also work for private and commercial purposes. You can pre-order the items for ₹499, and the deliveries are planned to be made from April and May 2025.
